About LawGuide

LawGuide Limited was founded in 1995 by Stephen Challis, a serving Trading Standards Officer, to serve specialists in the enforcement of various aspects of trading standards and environmental health legislation.

Stephen had noticed that the volume of legislation he was expected to know and enforce had become so diverse that he needed an aide memoir to assist him, so he developed the Enforcement Digest, a Filofax^TM style booklet providing instant access to a distilled version of the legislation he would need to refer to on a day-to-day basis.

Stephen has over 40 years experience of Trading Standards work and is assisted by other serving Trading Standards Officers, each specialising in various aspects of Trading Standards legislation.
